Pegomya nigrisquama (Stein, 1888)
Dirty green blotch with lateral extensions, often occupyimg in the end the whole leaf. All frass is concentrated in a black mass in the centre of the mine. Sometimes several mines in th same leaf. At the begin of the mine a white, oval egg shell is visible. Pupation outside the mine.
Larvae in June – July (Hering, 1957a).
Not known from the Benelux countries (Fauna Europaea, 2009).
