Megaselia praeacuta (Schmitz, 1919)
although this represents the first occasion of a mining behaviour in the family Phoridae, neither the larva nor the gall is described. A substandard photo shows a slowly widening gallery that regularly crosses itself; the frass seems te form a central line.
