green tot pink, fleshy, globular, 4-5 mm large bud galls in the leaf axils. Each gall contains a single chamber, its inside lined with white mycelium. Apparently univoltine, adults appear in May.

notes

the hostplant is an endemic of Malta, living on vertical sea cliffs.
