Houardiella gracilis Dorchin & Freidberg, 2008
A joint of the stem houses a chamber with a single larva. The joint is not discoloured and hardly swollen, the presence of the larvae becomes apparent only by an exit opening, from which an exuvium protrudes. The larva is unknown; probably at least two generations.
