The flower buds are swollen and remain closed. Larvae gregarious, yellow to orange, 3 mm.
While describing Clinodiplosis trifolii, Kieffer remarks about the spatula: hyaline, widened part yellow, lobes obliquely cut off exteriorly, as long as wide, incision triangular.
