Diplosis vorax.

Probably this species predates on a quite larger group of gall midge larvae. This for several authors hae raised the suspicion that at least a part of the many described Lestodiplosis species might actually be conspecific. Roskam & Carbonelle present of list of the possible candidates. However, only an actual study can verify this presumed synonymy, and the name of the eventual complex probably will not be “vorax” but some older name.
