Colour of the living larva yellow. In each gall only one larva. Two generations per year: the summer generation pupates within the gall, the winter generation in the ground.


Salicaceae, narrowly monophagous

Salix aurita, caprea, cinerea, excelsa, glaucosericea.


Spatula small and inconspicuous; the teeth are rounded at their tip (Rübsaamen 1916a)
