notes
The picture above (made in mid August) shows at left two pupae in the remnants of their flimsy cocoon; probably one of them is an inquiline. A strange thing is that the next pouch harbours a young larva; contrary to the decrepit pouch at left, the walls of the right one are still quite untouched.
