Never found again after the initial description; a synonymy with Dasineura asparagi cannot be excluded.
The reference to the description of this species by Gagné & Jaschhof is incorrect. A paper by de Stefani (1912a) does contain a chapter on the galls of Sicily, but the name minardii does not occur.
