Dasineura viciae gall



Leaflets shortened, swollen, discoloured and doubled over the midrib, resembling pods, sometimes in dense knots. Larvae white, 2-4 per gall. Two or three generations per year; pupation in the soil.

Vicia bithynica, cassubica, cracca & subsp. incana, disperma, grandiflora, ochroleuca, pannonica, sativa & subsp. nigra, sepium, sylvatica, tetrasperma, villosa & subsp. villosa.

Stelter (1992b) only mentions V. sativa with subsp. nigra, and sepium. Not on V. tetrasperma (Flügel, 2016a).
