Careopalpis akko Dorchin & Freidberg, 2008
One-chambered, yellowish, rice-grain-like galls in the leaves, generally one per leaf, several galled leaves together. The gall is semi-transparent, the wall is thin but hard. The solitary larva is yellowish white; pupation in the gall, the pupa is orange. At least two generations; hibernation probably in the fallen leaves (the host plant is a annual).
