Apterae 1.5 mm, yellowish-brown or green, with dark antennae and black-tipped siphunculi. The aphids case leaf curlings in spring.

Oriental species, observed for the first time in Europe (Spain) in 2011. In Asia the species has Cyperaceae (Cyperus rotundus, Carex) as summer host.
