Apterae 1-2 mm, dark brown to dark greenish brown, irregularly dusted with bluish white wax; dark spots before and after the cone-shaped siphunculi; causa short, triangular. Ant-attended. The colonies are conspicuous because of the large quantity of bluish grey wax wool.
