Ammiaphis sii (Koch, 1855)

in summer the aphids live on the stems and in the leaf sheaths, causing swelling of the sheaths and curling of the stems; in spring and autumn they live at the base of the plant, not causing galling. There is no host alternation. The aphids are 2 mm large, yellowish green with a light dusting of wax; the siphunculi are black.
