Adult viviparae are winged, 1-2 mm, pale yellow, with head and thorax pale brownish laterally, abdomen with rather large, pale brown, paired dorsal patches, antennae and legs mainly pale, and siphunculi pale. Immatures are pae yellowish with brown dorsal markings. Antennae > body. Solitary on undersides of leaves
