Adult viviparae winged, ± 2 mm, whitish, pale yellow or greyish-yellow, with paired black elongate spots on abdominal tergite 1-7 and a pale cauda. On undersides of mature leaves.


Poaceae, oligophagous

Arundinaria; Bambusa; Dendrocalamus asper; Phyllostachys aurea, bambusoides, viridiglaucescens; Pleioblastus; Pseudosasa japonica; Sasa.

Mainly on Arundinaria, Phyllostachys.

Also on the European Arundo donax (Lampel & Meier).
