All adult viviparae, ± 2 mm, are winged. Head and prothorax yellow with brown longitudinal markings; mesothorax and metathorax brown. Legs yellow, hind legs black spotted. Abdomen yellow with brown markings, siphunculi black. Larvae pale yellow. They live at the underside of the leaves, preferably along the midrib.
