All adult viviparae are winged. The aphids cause a weak downwards rolling of the leaves. No host alternation.

Sapindaceae, narrowly monophagous

Acer pseudoplatanus.

Records from other maples (A. campestre, platanoides, saccharinum) probably concern xenophagy (Blackman & Eastop); this doubtless applies as well to the record of Celtis occidentalis by Wojciechowski ao (2016a). Nieto Nafría & Mier Durante (1998a) find the species in Spain on A. campestre and pseudoplatanus. Mackoś-Iwaszko, Lubiarz & Karczmarz (2015a) did find the species on A. platanoides, but in minimal numbers.
