Aphids 2 mm, broadly oval and dorso-ventrally flattened, pale brown and grey with black segmental markings and a narrow pale spinal stripe from head to anterior abdomen. In small dense colonies on twigs and thin shoots of low branches. They suck at the base of the needles and on the needles themselves, and may cause needle drop.
