Mindarus obliquus (Cholodkovsky, 1896)

Between the needles of young shoots pale green aphids in white fluffy wax, resembling those of Mindarus abietinus. Contrary to that species, no malformation of the needles does occur.

Picea engelmannii, glauca, mariana, omorika, rubens, sitchensis.

Not on the common Picea abies.
