Apterae 1-2 mm, lemon-shaped, basic colour (greenish) yellow,
with a broad black V-shaped spot on the metathorax and a similar inverted V connecting the siphunculi. Also the head is largely black.

Carex arenaria, canescens, caryophyllea, colchica, nigra, praecox.
Incorrect or exceptional records concern Cyperus rotundus; Cynodon dactylon; Festuca valesiaca subsp. parviflora; Juncus compressus.
