Adelges lapponicus (Cholodkovsky, 1889)

gall

similar to the gall of the related A. tardus. Generally many galls together, mixed with galls from the previous years; they open in June, July. The aphids are dark red.

Picea abies, glauca, jezoensis, mariana, pungens, sitchensis.

No host alternation.

According to Buhr and Albrecht known only from Lapland, but the Fauna Europa (2013) also cites Austria (Alps?)
