inverse cone-shaped gall that with a somewhat narrowed stalk sits on the base of a petiole. The flat top of the gall bears a circle of 7-11 low bumps. The gall is stone-hard, brown to grey, unilocular, ± 9-11 mm in diameter.

Only the agamous generation is known. The species in known from Greece and the Greek islands, Turkey, Israel, Lebanon.
