up to 2 mm long ovoid gall that develops from dormant buds on stems or thick branches; usually a group together. The wall is thin, parchment-like, green, with a finely granular surface.
Fagaceae, narrowly monophagous
Buhr states that only the sexual generation is known, but according to Melika ao this is the agamous generation.
