Leaf gall at the end of a lateral vein, protruding equally at upperside and underside. The gall is globular, 5-8 mm, with a thick, fleshy wall.


Fagaceae, narrowly monophagous

Quercus cerris.


One supposes this species to be the sexual generation of Dryocosmus cerriphilus.
