Plant Parasites of Europe

leafminers, galls and fungi

Neuroterus albipes reflexus

Neuroterus albipes reflexus Kieffer, 1901

on Quercus

like the agamous spangle gall of albipes, but the outline is three- or four-lobed; at the same time the margin is more strongly rolled inwards.

Fagaceae, monophagous

Quercus petraea, pubescens, robur.

Neuroterus laeviusculus reflexus.

Melika, Csóka & Pujade-Villar (2000a) do not exclude the possibility of a distinct species, and the Fauna Europaea (2014) considers reflexus a valid subspecies, but most authors seemingly give their opinion by not mentioning the form.

Buhr (1965a), Houard (1908a), Melika, Csóka & Pujade-Villar (2000a), Vilarrubia Garet (1956a).
