Unilocular, rotund, 2-3 mm large, ultimately brown, fleshy galls, according to Buhr and Nieves-Aldrey mainly at the base of the plant, according to Redfern & Shirley mainly on the aerial stems. Often several galls in a string.

Potentilla anglica, erecta, grandiflora, heptaphylla, incana, inclinata.

Contrary to the list above, Nieves-Adrey describes the species as strictly monophagous on P. erecta.
