Tetramesa airae (von Schlechtendal, 1891)
Swelling of one of the higher internodes pf the culm. The plant is stunted in its growth and the development of the inflorescence. The gall itself consists of eight or more separate gall chambers. The larvae hibernate in the gall and pupate in the spring.
