large, elliptic, thin-walled gall that protrudes equally at either side of the leaf. The colour is green or shining red; the surface is smooth. Univoltine.

Abdominal segments 1-8 with 3 dorsal annulets. Suranal plate with minute pseudocerci, very close to one another. Body with black spots.
