Rather large, mostly green, elliptic, thin-walled gall that protrudes equally at either side of the leaf. The surface is smooth and shiny. A single gall per leaf. Univoltine.

larva

Abdominal segments 1-8 with 4 dorsal annulets. Suranal plate with minute pseudocerci, very close to one another. Body unmarked.
