Belgium, Germany and Switzerland, and eastwards from there (Taeger, Blank & Liston, 2006a; Fauna Europaea, 2009).


The occurrence of this strongly eastern species in Belgium is surprising, the more so because Pulsatilla hardly occurs there in the wild.

From Germany no records are known later than 1930 (Altenhofer & Pschorn-Walcher, 2006a).
