Eutomostethus luteiventris larva

Eutomostethus luteiventris

(Juncus effusus, Bunderbos: dead, parasitised larva

thoracal foot; abdominal proleg

The full-grown, free-living larva is described by Macek.
The larva, as a sawfly larva, is easily distinguished from the larvae of Elachista species because the “compound eye” contains but one facet. Even in exuvia this is easily observed.
