large, elliptic, thin-walled gall that protrudes equally at either side of the leaf. The colour is green or red, the surface smooth and shining. Univoltine.

Abdominal segments 1-8 with 4 dorsal annulets. Suranal plate with minute pseudocerci, very close to one another. Body without black spots.
