Tubpontania purpureae: larva



leaf margin, generally at both sides, rolled downwards; at the same time the leaf is twisted lengthwise. Older larvae live free, feeding externally on the gall.

Third abdominal segment with 4 dorsal annulets; 1–3 with setae. Suranal plate with pseudocerci. Anal segment dorsally without black spots.
