gall

weak swelling of a young shoot, up to 1.5 cm long, with smooth bark that my have turned red. The gall is unilocular, larva solitary. Pupation probably in the gall, univoltine.

Third abdominal segment with 3 dorsal annulets. Suranal plate without pseudocerci.
