Alucitidae
A tiny family with about 20 representatives in Europe; Adults are unmistakable by the wings, deeply cleft into 6 finger-like lobes, giving them a close similarity with the Pterophoridae, with which indeed they have long been united. See Heppner (1987a) for larval chaetotaxy..
