Prochoreutis sehestediana (Fabricius, 1775)
Sometimes a full depth, untidy, blotch, mainly in the lower leaves; probably more often window feeding between spun leaves. Older larvae live free among spun leaves.

Large parts of Europe, but not in the southeast (Italy, Balkan Peninsula) (Fauna Europaea, 2009).
Pale yellow green; pinacula black. Head with a brown W-mark on the rear margin. Prothoracic shield with c. 5+5 brown spots; anal shield not differentiated.
