Brithys crini (Fabricius, 1775)


Oviposition generally immediately below the inflorescence, rarely on a leaf. The young larva mines just below the epidermis. Frass is ejected through openings in the mine. The older larva does not mine any more but either lives free on the leaf or bores in stalk or fruits.
