Larvae in a folded leaf segment; in larger leaves a segment is cut loose.
It has been found in Israel that the larve can successfully complete its development on a strongly aberrant host plant, viz. Chrozophora tinctoria (Euphorbiaceae: Benyamini).
Hibernation as larva.
