Barea-Azcón porecise tjhe host plant as Androsace vitaliana subsp. nevadensis. The Euro+Med PlantBase (2021) does not known that taxon, but according to The Plant List (2021) it is a junior synonym of Vitaliana primuliflora subsp. assoana, a name that in turn is unknown to Euro+Med.
