Contradictory opinions exist about the larval biology. Hancock & Bland write that the larvae feed on flowers, after het have been spun together. According to Meijerman & Ulenberg the first two larval instars are leaf miners, making gallery mines (but pasiuana is fully unknown in the leaf miner literature). Subsequently the larvae would live among spun leaves; the latter is in agreement with photos in Lepiforum.
