The larvae mine the leaves from a 7-8 mm long composite leaf case, consisting of three cut out leaf fragments. The latest fragment is quite larve, triangular. The case is very pale brown, densely covered with dirty white stellate hairs. The case is bivalved, the mouth angle is 90°.
