Coleophora cytisanthi Baldizzone, 1978
case, dorsal (top) and ventral (from Baldizzone, 1978d).
The larva mines the bark of the twigs. It lives in a case made out a fragment of twig that has been cut off over 8-9 mm. The mouth opening is made in the side, just below the end of the case, obviously resulting in a mouth angle of 0°. The colour of the case changes from yellowish green to straw coloured.
