Greyish brown trivalved tubular silken case with a mouth angle of 30-35°. Mouth rather strongly flanged. Vague greyish length lines, surface “dusty”.
Full grown larvae in May.

The larvae mainly live on the leaf rosettes at the base of old flowering stems.
