Small (≤5 mm) tubular silken case, decorated with some length rows of fine sand grains. The case is tri-valved, mouth angle c. 45°.

A reference by Szőcz (1981a) of “Aster punctatus” (= Galatella sedifolia) possibly applies to C. galatellae.

Larvae from June to September Hering (1957a).
