Tubular silken case, up to 8 mm long. Behind the mouth the case is sharply bent; as a result the mouth angle is 0° and is the case aprressed to the substrate.

Larve mines only till April (Hering, 1957a).

Not known from the Benelux countries (Fauna Europaea, 2009).
