case
The larva lives in a mined Satureja leaf, in fact a spatulate leaf case, of c. 8 mm. When the species lives on Thymus, with its much smaller leaves, it makes out of of 3-4 leaflets a composite leaf case. Rear end bivalved, mouth angle c. 45°.
