Hairy, slender, largely dark brown, lobe case of 8-10 mm long; mouth angle 80-90°. The case is somewhat compressed.

Lamiaceae, oligophagous

Ballota nigra; Glechoma hederacea; Lamium album, purpureum; Stachys byzantina, officinalis, sylvatica.

The most important hostplants are Lamium (Hering, 1957a) or Ballota (Patzak, 1974a).


Larvae from October till May (Hering, 1957a).
