Coleophora paramayrella: case

The larva feeds on the developing fruits, living in a parchment-like, more or less reddish brown, 5.5 mm long case with a mouth angle of ± 45°. Contrary to C. mayrella the case is not wrapped in the remnants of a flower.

The full-fed larvae leave the host plant.
