Greyish, laterally strongly compressed sheath case; last 1/5th part acute, bent downwards. The case has about 20 indistinct ridges, sloping rearwards-down. Mouth angle 20°.

Larvae from autumn till July (Hering, 1057a).
Not known from the Benelux countries (Fauna Europaea, 2009).
